I have tried standard procedures and there are no hardware problems on the 3 computers.But I am unable to do it?The hub has 8 slots.The ISP cable is connected to the host computer.I have set up a LAN b/w 3 computers.

You can not share the internet connection using a Hub, you need to purchase a router which will take your internet connection and allow other computers to access it at the same time.

hope you've tested connectivity between the 2 comps %26 the host computer. (ping or n/w neighbourhood)

(just to get some ideas. and instead of linux it could be windows.) mainly the host system should be configured to do NAT.
