I believe there were two, one was called eniac and the second was called maniac.

The UNIVAC is probably the one you're thinking of. That's the one they had at Stanford University.
I think the first one that was built in the 1940's or 50's was the ENIAC. The UNIVAC, I believe, was somewhat later. A hand held calculator will do much more today than either of these early computers.
