I'm wondering if you find this true: people who twitter often are too attached to their computers.
I have a friend who literally carries his laptop almost wherever he goes. He carries it with him when visiting friends, going out, to a caf茅, travelling, etc. He has network connection through a cellphone card. But I find that kind of desire for internet linkage an indication he's unhealthily obsessed with the internet or computer or both. What do you think?

In these day it has come to the point that online and stuff can become an addiction! Some people just feel they have to keep in touch via myspace, IM, or what ever.
It really can harm a person. I have had numerous friends who failed out of college and live at home with parents still today because of their love with online...via online games.
It's a rough thing, but sometimes an intervention is what is needed. Or a hard slap accross the face!

I think that "balance" in your life is important. You need to have different interests. Computers are great but there ARE other parts of life - friends, family, exercise, other hobbies, etc. Try to be "well rounded". It makes you a more interesting and healthier person.
P.S. At work I am using a computer about 8 hours/day. At home I try not to use them very often. (Maybe 1 hour/day). Ooops! I am breaking that rule right now!
Unless he uses it for business he's either obsessed with it or worried someone will steal or get into it if left at home.
