Anybody know which brand is reliable when buying computers?

I got confuse when i'm planning to buy a computers..want to buy the original or the oem..if original..what brand is more dependable..what is amd athlon?what is the difference?what quality should i add to my list.somebody..help me..!!

I would recommend MESH. www.meshcomputers.com. I have one myself. They have computers for most needs and you can even customize them. but you will have to register as a member on their site. They also give you great extras!

Good service and delivery. on most computers they have 3 years of warranty. (but always check)

Because I am in cutomer support division member i saw IBM HCL Giving lot of problems...................
The name on the outside of the computer means very little. Because if you were to look inside you will find that all of the components are made by different companies such as Intel, Sony, Toshiba, Yamaha.

HP has great support where as E Machines do not.

Go with a computer that you can afford.
There is a lot of brand name computers like Compaq, IBM, Dell and so on, if you have no idea stick with a brand name for if nothing else for the guarantee... I would take the Gateway over a Dell, anyway you get what your pay for, but if i had the budget i would buy the best Micron Computer...
