By buying parts from these stores you will save 100's...
You should buy/build a computer and install linux. Imo Dell is a rip off. You can download linux ubuntu for free, like I did, and put it on a regular 700mb cd and boot it up to install it.
Or you can have a dual boot where you have Windows and linux installed on the same hard drive...
