I need to know how to get the goole virus off of a server computer and all the computers under it.?

I work in a school, I am the unofficial official computer engineer of the english as a secound language laboratory. I have the google virus on all the computers. Its not due to the file sharing i have since i reformatted one, left it off of the workgroup, as soon as i connected to the internet threw the server comp I had the virus imidiatly. So the root is at the server. My questions is how do i clean the server? Because all the comps connected to it could and probly would reinfect it...Is there a program that would clean them all at once, i realize this will probly shut down the pc麓s for the day but at least the virus will be eliminated.

I think your best solution is to download Avast into the server and start from there. I just checked an Avast site, and they are saying the virus is not caused by google, but rather it came in an email sent through google. If possible, I'd put Avast on all of the computers. If you have doubts about what Avast can do, check them out first. If the school will pay for antivirus, which they should, then get the pro version. If they won't, then put Avast home on each computer.

Personally, I've used Avast for 3+ years and not had a virus get past it successfully.

We always have used norton antivirus. But it also depends on how much $$$ is in the budget for such programs cause it can become very costly protecting each computer. I would use free antivirus programs. avg or avast.

plus if you back up ur server its gonna be mostly likely that your backups are infected too
use AVG to remove it they have recently got an update for it
