I'm not particularly concerned on HUMAN reaction. I just want to know, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THE INTERNET? Would it completely restart? And this isn't only for computers. It can be for any and every device ever connected to the internet. So lets say that right now nothing is connected to the internet. It would be gone, right?
What would happen to the Internet if all computers in the WHOLE world crashed down? Would it need restarting?trojan
The internet exists on millions of servers across the earth. If every one of the servers in the entire world all shut down at the same time, then for that time being, the internet would not exist.
As soon as even one server started back up again, the internet would exist again. As each server booted itself back up, more and more of the internet would return.
If you could wipe out every server on the internet at the same time (erase all the hard drives) then it would cease to exist... until someone went and got the back and reinstalled the backup to the server.
At that point, the internet would start again.

Well, let's see. In order for the entire Internet to come crashing down it would probably take either one hell of a virus, or one hell of a big Electro Magnetic Pulse.
