What form of writing do Japanese use on computers and writing?

Does anyone know what form the japanese use when on computers and when writing? Do they use hiragana and katakana, latin alphabet, or kanji?

they use all three, even roomaji sometimes. They do use kanji but it's not like each character has its own key. There are programs on the computer that have like natural-input typing. I have it and on my computer you type out the word in roomaji and while you're typing it converts to hiragana, katakana, and kanji. After you get done you can still choose which kanji you actually want, since some kanji have the same pronunciation.
