I can not download anything in my college computers , why is it so..?

whenever i try to download something in any of computers in my college , this error comes :

Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

Your cache administrator is Antim.Walekar_Network.Administrator.

i think my college people have some settings from which they restrict us from being downloading anything ,, but i want to know this in detail,, pls anyone knows about it.....???

This is a security issue. If you are trying to download school related programs you need to contact the schools help desk and ask them what you should do. I can download at my college but only in my Computer Information System classes. Would you want anyone other then you to download something from your home computer with out you giving consent first?

Well your Internet ports are closed by the network administrator in order to prevent illegal downloads....or infecting PCs with viruses/trojans. Try talking to one of them.
Because of porn sites and Viruses
use a cgi proxy.hope it works
