Why does my signal strength go down when im useing 2 computers or more when im on the ps3?

i have a wireless 3000 series netopia routor. when i have 2 computers on and when im on the ps3 ill be laggy online. is this routor not good for lots of connections? my routor is about 75ft away from my routor and another computer thats about 85ft. and 2 laptops that i dont really use.

when you share an internet connection each wifi device gets a piece of the pie.two devices equals two pretty big pieces (good connections) but the more devices you have the smaller the pieces get. meaning less signal each. hope this helps.

It doesn't matter what router you have, the problem is you have 2 computers on at the same time when your playing online

if it was just the PS3 online it would be 100% connection (no lag at all)

add 2 computers and that connection speed gets dropped to under 50% (and you start to lag)

oh boy and if the 2 computers are streaming videos or downloading music then your connections going to go WAY WAY down

All you have to do is disconnect the ethernet cords from the computers (if no ones on them) when you play and you shouldn't lag anymore
Most routers will do the same thing. I have a Linksys router, and 2 laptops, and a PS3, and when all three are connected, the PS3 does lag online.
