I want to take my computer to a computer shop...it hasn't crashed or anything but I am having some trouble. I have some anti-virus programs that are causing it to run slow and I have heard that AOL is not really compatible with HP computers. I just want to find out how I can get the best performance.
Does anyone have any good recommedations' on the Geek Squad or any where else to fix computers???agv
Don't go to a major company like Best Buy's Geek Squad. They will overcharge you. Look in the local phone book for small businesses, and do some comparing on prices. Tell them what your situation is and ask for an estimate. Most places will be more than happy to help you out.

FYI: You should only have ONE Anti-Virus program installed on your computer they don't play nicely together. and AOL really isn't compatible at all (nothing to do with HP)
And thirdly
Have you ever seen the Geek Squad and their fancy VW Beetles?
Guess who pays for them? The customer.
check you local phone book or newspaper you are sure to find a qualified PC guy in your area (my commute to work is 10 min. and there is two PC repair shops on the way)
