How can i backup mu windows Vista and recopy the backup version to different computers? is Norton Ghost good?anti virus software
Norton Ghost 12 is Vista compatible, I'm sure you can spring $70 for it, especially if you're a computer seller (you can write it off as a business expense).
The only problem I see, though, is how you're going to deal with Windows Vista Activation if you're planning on imaging the same Windows Vista install on each machine. You are going to need a unique product key for each install of Vista, or else your client's machines are going to stop working after a short while. Windows Vista Activation was implemented to reduce the number of unauthorized (i.e., unpaid for or pirated) versions of Windows.

From what I understand Visia is better at checking what hardware its installed on, I think the only way you can do what you are trying to do is to make sure every PC is the same.
For example, My motherboard died, and when I put a new one on (also the exact same MB, just a newer version), when windows loaded up, it said it noticed a hardware change, and then it tried to make sure it was a valid copy of windows.. I had to end up calling tech support to get them to give me a new Key code.
Vista... what a pain!!
If you can't figure this out, I wouldn't want to buy a pc from you. Please educate yourself or quit ripping people off.
