How can I tell if my husband has installed Spyware on our computers to monitor what I do?

I am not doing anything I shouldn't be, but at the same time, I assert my independence and don't "give in" to his gross insecurities by spending the number of hours a day it would require to stroke his ego and assure him he's the only one. I equate that with giving an alcoholic a beer.

Anyway, I am very curious to see if his insecurities have manifested themselves in my husband actually SPYING on me.

Problem is, I don't know anything about computers (but I'm not an idiot) and so wouldn't know what to look for, or where.

Can you help me? I'm interested in both whether he can monitor me on the Internet and if he can track my actions on the computer itself.

"Spyware" implies commercial marketing software, what you are really looking for is snooping software.

Your actions on the Internet are largely evident although secure sites will limit this significantly (shttp:... not http:...)

(Like your banking transactions websites.)

There would have to be something installed on your computer to track your actions not on the Internet.

The bad news is that your husband is in the best possible position to do this (i.e., physical access)
