How do I create a wireless network between two computers?windows

first both computers will have to have a wireless card

next you will need a wireless router

next, on each machine you will have to run the network setup wizard in windows via

start

run

accessories

communications

network setup wizard

this will guide you through all the steps to create a network

at the end you will be asked to make a network setup disk,

you can do this and write it to a floppy then easily install it on the other machine, but i prefer to go through each step manually.

after it is complete, and both machines are restarted and runnig, click my network places on the start menue and you will see the shared drives on your network.

A router is usually needed to create a network between any amount of computers. There is a way to create an "ad-hoc" (that's what it's called in Windows Network settings) network between two PC's, but in all my attempts, I've never been able to get it to work properly.
You need to have wireless cards installed on them. After that, you can create an ad hoc network using just the cards and a program called WiPeer. It doesn't require a network router or HUB so it's pretty sweet!
