Internet Browser is not working on one of two computers?

I have two comptuers conenected to a cable modem by a router. On one of my computers everything works fine and dandy. The other used to be able to connect, but as of two days ago it hasnt been able to connect to the internet.

My AV (PC CIllin), iTunes and AIM will not connect to the internet.

I've tried restarting my modem and router, checking my settings on both IE and Firefox to make sure I have a direct connection, tried using a different cable to connect. Turned off my AV. All with no success.

I'm starting to get desperate here.Any sugestions?

Check if the computer LAN card is functioning, ping 127.0.0.1

Check if it is getting the IP from the router, run ipconfig /all

Check DNS settings, compare with PC 1

I ran into that problem and hubby fixed it by having both computers on then he unpluged the modem and router. he plugged the modem in and waited for all the lights to come on then plugged the router in. The the other computer got on the net. You may have a different problem but kept both computers on when he did it.
Try using a dirrerent cable modem by a router then.
